Privacy Policy
NovaLuna ("we," "us") is operated by Idynomite Media. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We try to keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Account — your email address (or Apple ID sign-in), to sign you in and sync your data. Auth is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google).
- Content you create — the topics you enter and the meditations we generate for you, stored to your account.
- Activity — sessions you play, follows, streaks, and in-app events (via Mixpanel analytics, tied to a per-user or anonymous identifier).
- Purchases — your subscription/credit status. Payments are processed by Apple; we do not receive your card details.
- Notifications — a device push token, if you enable notifications.
- Technical — basic device/app info needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the app: generate your meditations, sync sessions, manage your subscription.
- To improve the product and understand usage (aggregate analytics).
- To keep the service safe and prevent abuse.
Service providers
We share the minimum needed with providers that run parts of the service:
- Apple — sign-in, purchases, and push notifications.
- Google Cloud / Firebase — authentication, our database, and audio/image storage & delivery.
- Anthropic — the topic you enter is sent to generate and safety-check your meditation script.
- ElevenLabs — generates the narration voice and background music.
- Mixpanel — product analytics.
We do not sell your personal information.
Your meditations & topics
The topics you type are processed by our AI providers to create and moderate your meditation. Don't include sensitive personal details you wouldn't want processed this way. Created meditations are private to your account unless you choose to share them (where that feature is available).
Data retention & your choices
- You can delete individual creations in the app. Deleting a creation removes its audio.
- You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@novaluna.app.
- We retain data while your account is active and as needed for legal/operational reasons.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and signed, time-limited URLs for your private audio. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Children
NovaLuna is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
